Okay, this is not what I encounter in Long Beach harbor, but it feels like this. Can't see. What is visible is cloaked in mystery. Fog will do that.
You motor slowly. Step outside the wheelhouse to listen. A braying fogborn, but far away. Is it getting closer?
If you work on the water you deal with fog. Also rain and sometimes snow. But it's the fog that gives you nightmares....
